The Fishermans Cottage in Portland was just what we needed for our trekking adventure! The room had 2 bathrooms, one with a hot tub and the other with a shower. It was so nice to have the option to relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The beds were comfy, and the cottage had a cozy and welcoming vibe. Perfect for a group of friends like us!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of baths, so having one in one of the bathrooms wasn't my cup of tea. But hey, that's just my preference and I'm sure others would love soaking in the tub!

We recently stayed at a charming cottage in a beautiful location. Fishermans Cottage provided us with a comfortable and homely atmosphere. the property had all the amenities we needed, including a relaxing hot tub to soothe our tired muscles after long walks. the views from the cottage were stunning, especially from the front bedroom windows. the location was perfect for exploring the area, with the South West Coastal Path just steps away. We also enjoyed the convenience of the nearby Portland Coaster, which took us into Weymouth. Cons: Nothing to mention. 😊.

The Fishermans Cottage in Portland was absolutely fantastic! The room was super comfy and felt like a cozy home away from home. I loved that there were not one, but two bathrooms - one with a hot tub and a shower, and the other with a shower and a hot tub. It was such a treat to relax in the hot tub after a long day of exploring. Plus, having two bathrooms meant no waiting in line, which is always a bonus!
Honestly, there's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, I'd say the only downside was that one of the bathrooms had a bath instead of a shower. Although it's not my preferred way to freshen up, I do understand that others might enjoy a nice soak in the tub.

We had an incredible Christmas getaway at this cozy cottage! The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and easy access to the SW Coast Path for scenic walks. We loved that the cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a hot tub to relax in at the end of a long day. The staff was quick to respond and fix any issues we had, and the nearby eateries, especially the Crabhouse, were top-notch. a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience!
While our stay was wonderful, there were a few drawbacks to note. The property could definitely use some TLC and a deep clean, as some surfaces, particularly in the kitchen, were not well-maintained.

The location of Fishermans Cottage was absolutely stunning, with beautiful sea views that we loved. We also appreciated the easy parking and the fact that it felt like a home away from home. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. The owners were very responsive and quick to address any issues we had. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having both a shower and a bath in the bathroom.
I had a minor issue with the WiFi signal being poor and the TV reception not being great, but it wasn't a major problem as we didn't spend too much time indoors. Additionally, the property could benefit from some updates, as the furniture and decor were a bit dated.
